Lumpy skin disease: Suspected case reported in Khar

An official said that they have sent samples of the cattle showing symptoms of the disease for lab examination and a report was awaited

A suspected case of lumpy skin disease in an animal has been detected in Mumbai, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said on Thursday, as per the PTI. The suspected case was detected in Khar area of the city, the official said.
Lumpy skin disease affects cattle like cows and buffaloes.
