Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday chaired a high-level meeting and asked the officials to urgently resolve worsening traffic situation in Thane and its nearby areas, reported the PTI.

Shinde urged all departments to work in coordination for quick and effective solutions in the district.

Eknath Shinde acknowledged the severe inconvenience faced by citizens due to recurring traffic jams and said it was essential for municipal officials, traffic police, and the Public Works Department to collaborate within strict timelines to resolve the issues.
