Maharashtra: Nine killed, 27 injured in two separate road accidents in Beed

Five people were killed and 22 sustained injuries in a tragic road incident in Maharashtra's Beed district

Nine persons were killed and 27 others suffered injuries in Maharashtra's Beed district, in two separate road accidents. The first accident occurred when a private bus, speeding along its route from Mumbai to Beed, overturned at Aashta Fata around 6 am on Thursday, situated about 120 km from its destination. The bus, reportedly traveling at high speed, veered out of control, leading to the tragic incident.

The police promptly launched a rescue operation, enlisting the assistance of local residents. In the aftermath of the accident, five persons lost their lives, with four hailing from the Beed district and one from Yavatmal. An additional 26 passengers sustained injuries and were transported to various hospitals for medical attention. The victims were identified as Dhondiba Shinde, Deodatt Peche, Mohammad Asif Dost Mohammed Khan, Ashok Bhondve, and Ravi Godambe.
