Under the National Health Mission, the Public Health Department has taken a policy decision to allow a one-time transfer of Community Health Officers (CHOs) currently working in various health sub-centres across the state during their service period, a recently released Government Resolution (GR) said.
From June 23 to June 25, 2025, inter-district and intra-district transfers of CHOs will be carried out based on their requests.
Several Community Health Officers appointed under the National Health Mission are working in primary health centres across the state. For the past few years, various CHO associations have been consistently demanding transfers based on personal requests.
