In a tragic incident, a girl was severely assaulted with a pipe wrench on her head and chest by a man, reportedly known to her, in Vasai on Tuesday morning.

The girl, dressed in ethnic attire, was seen lying motionless in the middle of the road. The man, reportedly her boyfriend, held a wrench in his hand and was heard shouting, “Kyun kiya, kyun kiya,” in the middle of the road in Vasai East.
