Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has said that it is important for him and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray to come together to fight for the Marathi language and people, reported the PTI.
In a part of an interview with Shiv Sena (UBT) mouthpiece Saamana, conducted by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut, Uddhav Thackeray said that both he and Raj are committed to protecting the identity and interests of the 'Marathi Manoos'.
"I am willing to do anything for the Marathi language, Maharashtra dharma, and the Marathi Manoos. If anyone has a problem with Raj and me coming together, it’s their problem," Uddhav said, according to the PTI.
