Three dead in past 24 hours after rains hit Maharashtra

High amount of rainfall was recorded in several districts of Maharashtra, with Dharashiv district receiving 42.2 mm, Beed 24 mm and Jalna 13.9 mm, officials said

At least three people were killed and several others were injured in the past 24 hours after rain hit parts of Maharashtra, officials said on Thursday. 

The recent onset of monsoon has impacted various districts across Maharashtra.

The Disaster Management Department of the state, in its data, stated that Maharashtra experienced heavy rainfall and other weather related incidents in the last 24 hours.
