In a landmark move, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) announced that for the first time, its project registration certificates will now include comprehensive details about each project development — a step widely seen as a significant victory for homebuyers across the state.

Effective immediately, all new housing projects registered with MahaRERA will be issued a revamped certificate that outlines vital project information in a user-friendly format. The move, described by officials as "homebuyer-centric", is aimed at equipping prospective buyers with all essential preliminary details necessary for informed decision-making.

Previously, registration certificates only listed basic information —the name and address of the project and promoter. Now, the document will present this data in bullet points for clarity and ease of reference.
