Maharashtra has reported nine fresh cases of Covid-19 sub-variant JN.1 while the countrywide tally of the new variant stands at 109, reports said on Wednesday.

Forty more cases of the sub-variant JN.1 were recorded, with the tally of cases of the new variant across the country till December 26 rising to 109, newswire PTI reported quoting official sources.
