Maharashtra schools to conduct sessions on positive discipline for teachers

The Maharashtra School Education Department has announced special sessions on positive discipline for teachers in all districts, talukas, and central education councils across the state. This move comes in response to increasing reports of corporal punishment in schools and growing concerns over its impact on students.

The sessions, lasting at least 45 minutes, will be begin in the first week of December. They aim to strengthen the mental health of students, create a safe learning environment, and improve teacher-student relationships.
