Schools run by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) have registered a 92.92 per cent pass percentage in the SSC Class X board exams this year, marking a marginal increase from last year’s 91.56 per cent. Among the 14,966 students who appeared from 247 BMC schools, 13,907 passed, reinforcing the growing academic momentum in Mumbai’s civic-run schools.
Akshara Ajay Verma, a student of Worli Sea Face Municipal Secondary School (English medium), emerged as the topper across all BMC schools, scoring an impressive 96.80 per cent.
