Video tutorial shows teachers how to evaluate students via Std IX and Std X scores for both, regular and repeater, private candidates

Moving away from mundane paper-based directives, the Maharashtra state board released a tutorial on YouTube to help teachers understand the assessment process for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results. While the video was a live session on Thursday morning, a recording was uploaded on the state board’s official YouTube channel. Within a few hours, it had over 17,000 views.
School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad declared a method for assessment towards the end of May after SSC exams were cancelled. The results will be a combination of the academic record of students from Std IX and X. Marks scored in internal exams during SSC will hold 30 per cent weightage, while the remaining 20 per cent will be derived from oral exams and home assignments. The Std IX scores will hold 50 per cent weightage.
