Less than a month after the incident, police arrested two men on Saturday for slashing a woman five times with a sharp object in a failed robbery attempt at Marine Drive. Based on the sketches prepared after the incident, the cops identified the duo when they visited a restaurant in south Mumbai and nabbed them.

The two accused had come to Delhi Darbar Hotel when the Marine Drive police station officials picked them up, said cops. MiD DAY had reported about the incident in its September 14 edition.
