Medical interns across the state intend to go on indefinite strike if health minister does not agree to raise stipend

Days after a peaceful protest by medical interns across the state, Maharashtra Health Minister Dr Deepak Sawant has agreed to meet the Association of State Medical Interns (ASMI)âu00c2u0080u00c2u0088on May 2 to discuss their humble stipend of R6,000. The stipend has not increased since 2012.
