The National Green Tribunal which is a hearing a plea filed by the NGO Vanashakti regarding the proposed Metro car depot site at Aarey Milk colony on Tuesday stated that the intervention application filed by one of the citizens group favouring car depot in Aarey Milk colony has mentioned the same point in the application, practically copying the stand of MMRC. The police have also been asked to take action against those responsible for the forest fires inside Aarey colony.

The order copy states, “The intervention application is practically copying the stand of MMRC. Under the circumstances, we reject the request of the intervener to intervene in the matter, though we have given brief time to argue the matter for about 15 minutes and put a short written submission to the intervener."
