Mumbai Traffic Police on Thursday issued traffic restrictions ahead of Muharram procession in south Mumbai.

Mumbai Traffic Police, in a traffic notification said that on July 28, 2023 a procession of "Shab-e- Shahadat" for Muharram is scheduled from 1600 hrs. onwards on the following route-- P. Ismail Merchant chowk (Nesbit Junction) - Sofia Zubair Junction - Sir J. J. Junction - I. R. Road - Pakmodia Street - Zainabia Hall. Many people are expected to attend the procession, which may lead to traffic congestion on the said routes and the routes leading there unto. Therefore, to ensure smooth flow of traffic, following arrangements have been made.
