Ratan Tata and Maruti Bhandare have one thing in common their dreams have come true.

While Tata has managed to bring out the world's cheapest car, Bhandare has been lucky enough to be allotted one a sunshine yellow colour Nano.

LUCKY: Maruti Bhandare received a sunshine yellow colour Nano. Bhandare was one of the first to book the car.

Bhandare (42), a cobbler from Mulund, was one of the first to book the Nano.

He made an upfront payment of Rs 1,40,000 for the high-end model, Nano LX.

An excited Bhandare is now checking out driving schools he can enroll into.

Said Bhandare, "I am delighted. I never expected to be allotted the car though I had been saving for it."

Bhandare lives in a single room with his wife and two children and earns Rs 7,000 a month.
