A 16-year-old girl jumped off the terrace of a building in Prabhadevi on Saturday. The girl, a Class 10 student, was a resident of building 12 of Sai Sundar Nagar, Prabhadevi, said police. She used to live on the 7^th floor and went to a school in Dadar.

On Saturday the girl visited the house of the society’s president and asked for keys to the terrace to dry clothes, said police. She then went to the roof which is on the 10^th floor and jumped off. Dadar police rushed to the spot and took her to KEM Hospital where she was declared brought dead.
