Mumbai: 25-year-old man under quarantine booked for escaping from hotel

The civic body also issued a show-cause notice against Hotel Sai Leela Grand for violating the protocol by neither informing the civic body nor the police about Karan “escaping quarantine”

A 25-year-old man was booked recently for allegedly escaping an Andheri (East) hotel where he was put in quarantine after he landed from Africa on March 27.
BMC had filed a complaint with MIDC police against Karan Udasi, an Ulahsnagar resident.
