Mumbai Traffic police intensifies campaign against two-wheeler riders for breaking speed limits and performing stunts

The Mumbai Traffic Police (MTP) has intensified its campaign against rash riders, most of whom were found violating speed limits at night. Though the initiative was launched on January 23, the majority of the actions were taken in the first 21 days of March.
The department registered 515 cases from January 23 to March 21, said an officer. But, 477 cases were registered between March 1 and March 21 alone, with 477 riders facing charges and the police seizing 558 two-wheelers, the officer added.
