A 54-year-old passenger fainted inside the BEST bus on Tuesday afternoon. While the passenger was rushed to a nearby civic-run Trauma Care Hospital, he was declared dead at 2.30 pm.

According to the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) officials, the passenger identified as Pradeep Sawant fainted at around 1.45 pm. The incident occurred near Tagore Nagar Junction and was proceeding to Majas Depot.
