A model and actress stepped out of her Oshiwara home, roamed in public and even did film shoots despite testing positive for novel Coronavirus. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has now slapped a case against her and proceedings are underway to quarantine her in a hotel.
The action against the actress comes as the civic body scrambles to contain the spike in COVID infections in Mumbai. Apart from imposing punitive measures on people disobeying quarantine norms, the corporation has also repeatedly urged citizens to mask up, maintain social distancing and wash hands frequently.
