BEST likely to increase fares this week, check proposed revised prices

The price hike is to make fare slabs more systematic and provide increased benefits to specific groups such as schoolchildren, senior citizens, and disabled passengers, an official statement said

The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) has announced a proposed hike in fare prices on its buses which is likely to be implemented this week.
The BEST is waiting for the Mumbai Regional Transport Authority's (MRTA) approval.
