The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to make Mumbai roads potholes free ahead of Ganpati festival. The BMC release of Monday stated that the municipal commissioner has asked the local wards to fill the potholes on roads before the festival begins. "The arrival and immersion routes of Ganpati idols should be immediately cleared of potholes," stated the release.

The BMC has also asked the citizens to be alert while traveling over dangerous railway bridges and strictly follow the instructions given by the civic body.
