The local police and bomb squad rushed to Miraj cinema hall in Dattani mall, Vasai, on Friday after being informed of a bomb at the premises. The tip-off, however, turned out to be a hoax after officials didn’t find any explosives, said police.

According to officials, they received a call from DG control around 3 pm on Friday, regarding a bomb being placed inside the cinema hall.
