BMC withdraws decision to impose 13-hour water cut in Mumbai; check details here

The previously announced 13-hour water cut on Wednesday from 9.45 am to 10.45 pm has now been withdrawn. Water supply to Mumbai city and its eastern suburbs will continue smoothly as per the usual daily schedule

The work scheduled to commission a new surge control tank (anti-surge vessel) at Panjrapur pumping station in Thane district has been cancelled.

As a result, the previously announced 13-hour water cut on Wednesday from 9.45 am to 10.45 pm has now been withdrawn. Water supply to Mumbai city and its eastern suburbs will continue smoothly as per the usual daily schedule, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said in a press release.
