BMC directs completion of Bandra–Dharavi flyover, Worli bridges by deadlines

The first phase of the flyover reconstruction between Bandra and Dharavi is expected to be completed by November 30. Work orders for the second flyover at the project site will be issued soon, with a target to finish the entire project within 18 months

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has emphasised that construction of flyovers and skywalks across the city should be completed without causing any inconvenience to citizens. Additional Municipal Commissioner (Projects) Abhijeet Bangar issued these directives during a site inspection of ongoing projects on Wednesday.

The first phase of the flyover reconstruction between Bandra and Dharavi is expected to be completed by November 30. Work orders for the second flyover at the project site will be issued soon, with a target to finish the entire project within 18 months. Bangar directed the officials concerned to ensure that the construction timelines are strictly adhered to and that residents face no disruption during the work.
