The Colaba police have launched a manhunt for a 20-year-old second year BMS student after he went missing from his hostel on August 26. The matter came to light when his 41-year-old father Ashraf P M approached the police when he was unable to contact his son.

“My son Fazil came to Mumbai to pursue a degree in BMM; he lived in a hostel. Since August 26 my son’s phone has been switched off. I came to Mumbai on August 27 and after asking his friends I came to know that Fazil went out of his hostel on August 26 evening and has not returned ever since. On August 28, I approached the police station.”
