If you thought that attacks on cops have only become common in the recent past, think again. In a latest report submitted to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis by the top brass of Maharashtra Police, it has been learnt that around 4,560 cops have been attacked across the state since 2012. And, it’s hardly surprising that Mumbai tops this list, with 947 attacks on policemen in the same period.
