A special CBI court on Friday denied bail to former home minister Anil Deshmukh in the Rs 100-crore extortion and IPS transfer posting case. The statement of the approver, suspended assistant police inspector Sachin Waze, plays an important role in the case and it cannot be overlooked at the stage of bail hearing, the court noted.
