After constantly having test positivity rate (TPR) above 1, Mumbai’s TPR dipped below 1 on Tuesday. The last time such a TPR was registered was on October 2 at 0.98%. On Tuesday, the city’s TPR was 0.90%. The city’s new cases saw a drop while the Covid-19 fatalities remained the same as Monday. As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 313 new cases were reported on Tuesday.
Three of the deceased had comorbidities. While one of the deceased was in the age group of 40-60 years, the other three were above 60 years of age.
