Mumbai Crime: Mazgaon shopowner shot at, injured while trying to flee

Two men on a bike approached the victim, and the pillion rider fired one round at him while he was talking to his friend in the early hours of Saturday morning

Unknown persons opened fire at a 32-year-old man in Byculla in the early hours of Saturday morning. While the victim did not suffer any bullet wounds, he hurt his leg while running away from the spot. The police have launched a manhunt for the attackers.

According to the Byculla police, around 3 am on Saturday, Mohsin Salmani, 32, his friend Mohammed Salman Abu Talib Khan and Imran Majeed Sheikh were sitting at Dr Shivdas Chapsi Road when two men on a motorcycle approached them.
