Mumbai Customs seize Rs 47 lakh of gold, Rs 38 lakh of currency at international airport

The Air Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Customs seized foreign and Indian currency worth Rs.38, 78,033 in two separate cases at the Mumbai international airport on Tuesday.

In the first case, the AIU intercepted three passengers – Rajkumar Ladharam Israni, who was carrying foreign and Indian currency totally valued at Rs.9, 41,520, Nirmal Mohanlal Dudani, who was carrying foreign and Indian currency totally valued at Rs.7, 23,783, and Mayur Kumar Motwani, who was carrying foreign and Indian currency totally valued at Rs.10, 16,500. The trio was on their way to Dubai and about to take-off on flight EK-507.
