The number of fresh Covid-19 infections in the city jumped significantly to 463 on Wednesday, from 313 the day before, showed the BMC’s report. The growth in daily cases was recorded at 48 per cent.
Along with daily cases, the test positivity rate (TPR) also increased and rose past 1 per cent once again. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) report, the city registered a TPR of 1.2 per cent on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the TPR had dropped to 0.90 per cent.
