The Panvel city police have arrested the fifth suspect involved in the conspiracy and plot to kill actor Salman Khan. This individual was allegedly planning to assist the other conspirators by providing accommodation as they conducted surveillance on Khan`s residence in Bandra, his farmhouse in rural Panvel, and other areas in Goregaon. In total, 21 people have been implicated in the conspiracy, with five arrests made so far, while the search for the remaining 16 suspects continues.

The police said, “The accused, Deepak Hawasingh Gogalia, alias Jani Valmiki, 30, was a resident of Tigrana, Bhiwani, Haryana. He was taken into custody from Haryana with the help of local police on June 1 and after transit, remand brought to Panvel," said the police officer.
