A fire broke out at a flat of Pearl Residency, a high-rise building located in Andheri West area of Mumbai, the officials said on Wednesday.

According to the civic officials, the blaze broke out at the building which is located near Andheri Sports Club on JP Road in Azad Nagar, Andheri (W) at around 7:57 pm. The incident was reported to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) that rushed to the spot and began a firefighting operation.
