A fire broke out on Friday morning at a shop located in Marol’s Ashok Nagar area of Andheri East, officials from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

According to the BMC’s Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the incident was reported at 8:10 am from Military Road, near Ashok Tower, at KDN Compound. The blaze was confined to a closed galla (shop) situated on the ground floor of a ground-plus-one structure.
