"The fire broke out in the store room due to short-circuit. It was not a major fire. It is good the school was shut, otherwise it would have been dangerous for students,” said a fire brigade official.

A fire broke out at St. Anne's school in Vasai (West) on Wednesday morning due to a short-circuit in the store room, said fire brigade officials. Two teachers were rescued from the third floor of the building by locals. No casualties were reported.
