Mumbai: One person killed after fire breaks out in slum near Bhayandar

The fire started at around 6 am in the Azad Nagar slum near Bhayandar, Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) Commissioner Sanjay Katkar said

One person was killed after a major fire broke out in a Azad Nagar slum near Bhayandar in Maharashtra`s Thane district neighbouring Mumbai on Wednesday morning, destroying several huts and shops.
One person died and several others were injured in the incident. The fire is now under control.
