To rid the western side of Borivli railway station of traffic congestion, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Borivli Traffic Police have blocked about 12 crossings on a 100-metre section of SV Road between Moksh Plaza and Goragandhi Juice Corner over the past month.
According to the traffic police, thousands of vehicles ply this stretch daily. While it would take motorists 15 minutes to traverse it, this is no longer the case.
