"The monsoon currents have strengthened and it is expected that within next two-three days monsoon will arrive in some parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai. Places like Kolhapur, Sangli, and Goa received over 10 cm of rain on Friday, all of which were encouraging signs for Mumbai," Director of the Metereological Bureau, Sathi Devi said.
