WR announces night block between Bhayandar and Borivali on May 24–25

Western Railway WR on Friday announced a night block between Bhayandar and Borivali stations during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday May 24ndash25 2025 to carry out essential maintenance workAccording to WRs Mumbai local train updates the block is necessary for the upkeep of railway infrastructure including track repairs signalling systems and overhead equipmentIn a statement Vineet Abhishek Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway said the Jumbo Block will be in effect from 1130 pm to 300 am on the UP fast line and from 115 am to 445 am on the Down fast line During these hours all fast local trains will be diverted to the UP slow lines between VirarVasai Road and Borivali As a result certain local train services will be cancelledPassengers are advised to check with the Station Masterrsquos office at their respective stations for detailed information on train schedules and service changesWestern Railway has also confirmed that there will be no day block on Sunday May 25 2025 ensuring uninterrupted suburban train services during the dayWestern Railway to operate two summer special trainsFor the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand especially during the summer season the Western Railway has decided to run two Special Trains to various destinationsAccording to a press release issued by Western Railways Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek the details of the special train are as underTrain No 0902909030 Bandra TerminusndashBanaras Superfast Special Unreserved 24 tripsTran No 09029 Bandra TerminusndashBanaras Superfast Special will depart from Bandra Terminus every Thursday at 430 am and reach Banaras at 630 am the next dayThis train will be operated from April 10 to June 26 Similarly Train No 09030 BanarasndashBandra Terminus Special will depart from Banaras every Friday at 930 am and will arrive at Bandra Terminus at 1215 pm the next day This train will run from April 11 to June 27During its journey the train which comprises General Second Class Coaches will halt at Borivali Boisar Vapi Bhestan Chalthan Nandurbar Bhusaval Khandwa Itarsi Pipariya Narsinghpur Madanmahal Katni Satna Manikpur Prayagraj Jn and Gyanpur Road stations in both directionsTrain No 0903309034 UdhnandashBarauni Weekly Special 24 TripsTrain No 09033 UdhnandashBarauni Special will depart from Udhna Surat every Wednesday at 835 pm and reach Barauni Bihar at 3 am on Friday This train will run from April 9 to June 25Similarly Train No 09034 BaraunindashUdhna Special will depart from Barauni every Friday at 530 am and reach Udhna at 430 pm the next day This Train will run from April 11 to June 27Enroute this train will halt at Nandurbar Bhusaval Khandwa Itarsi Pipariya Narsinghpur Jabalpur Katni Maihar Satna Manikpur Prayagraj Chheoki PtDeen Dayal Upadhyaya Buxar Ara Patna Bakhtiyarpur and Mokama stations in both directionsThis train comprises AC 2Tier AC 3Tier Sleeper Class and General Second Class coachesThe Booking for Train Nos 09033 will open from Saturday at all PRS Passenger Reservation System counters and on the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation IRCTC websiteatOptionskeyd0ddb8ef8f1a62a8cdd22fac27fc5ea7formatiframeheight90width728params
