The Western Railway on Thursday said that it has collected over Rs 121 crore in fines through intensive ticket-checking drives conducted between April and October 2025.

An official statement said that the checks were carried out across Mumbai local trains, as well as Mail, Express, passenger and special trains, to curb ticketless and irregular travel.
