The Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3, also known as the Colaba–Bandra–SEEPZ corridor, continues to witness a steady rise in daily passenger numbers. On October 13, the metro line recorded a total ridership of 1,64,877 commuters, reflecting growing public confidence and dependence on the newly launched route, according to MMRC.
According to data shared by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), the Aqua Line’s average weekday ridership has seen consistent growth since its initial operations began earlier this year. The increasing commuter turnout indicates that the underground metro corridor is gradually becoming one of the city’s preferred modes of transport, especially for office-goers and daily travellers seeking to avoid Mumbai’s surface traffic congestion.
