The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Monday said that Kapurbawdi metro station on the Mumbai Metro Line 4 has taken shape with eight U-Girders installations in a single night.
It said that in a major engineering feat, eight U-Girders were successfully erected in a single night at Kapurbawdi Station on Mumbai Metro Line 4 (Wadala–Gaimukh).
The station is located on Ghodbunder Road in Thane district of Maharashtra and it will serve as a crucial interchange between Mumbai Metro Line 4 and Metro Line 5 (Thane–Bhiwandi) at Tatvagyan Vidhyapeeth Junction, the MMRDA said.
