Mumbai Metro Line-2B work progresses as MMRDA launches U-girders at Halav Bridge

Mumbai Metro Line 2B will connect major residential and business areas including D.N. Nagar, BKC, Kurla, Chembur and Mandale. Once completed, the corridor is expected to benefit lakhs of daily commuters by reducing travel time and easing pressure on busy roads

Mumbai Metro Line-2B work has further progressed after the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) successfully launched two U-girders at Halav Bridge in Kurla, an official statement said.

According to the MMRDA, It was successful in completing the launching of U-girders above Halav Bridge for Mumbai Metro Line 2B at 4 am. on February 21, 2026.
