A 16-year-old minor boy in Mumbai’s Malad Malwani, ended his life after his father prevented him from playing mobile games. The police shared details indicating that the boy`s father had intervened due to concerns about his son`s gaming addiction.
Police said the teenager had a habit of playing mobile games late into the night, prompting his father to intervene on Thursday night around 11:30 pm. The father confiscated the boy`s phone and instructed him to go to sleep. In response, the distraught boy allegedly threatened self-harm if he wasn`t allowed to continue playing, news wire ANI reported.
