Party supremo Raj Thackeray had met Jadhav and asked to call off the strike saying the party will take the issue head on. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reportedly told media persons that, small four-wheelers have been exempted from the toll and they don’t need to pay the revised fees.
Jadhav on Monday afternoon came to Anand Nagar toll plaza at Mulund East and asked motorists not to pay the toll showing a video of Fadanvis talking about exemption for cars. Navghar cops took Jadhav and some of his followers in custody and took him to Navghar police station.
