On Tuesday over 44,000 people were vaccinated across various civic and private vaccination centres and a total of 6,90,244 have been inoculated so far. According to the data of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), 10 adverse effects were reported by those who took Covishield vaccines while there were no adverse effects reported in the case of those who took the Covaxin vaccines.

The BMC has been preparing to increase the number of vaccination centres across the city and will be including more of peripheral and primary care health centres for this. Civic officials said that there is no issue in the case of arrival of more vaccines and they have been made available on demand almost every week.
