Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with his deputies Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde, paid rich tributes on Thursday to veteran sculptor and Padma Shri awardee Dr Ram Sutar, whose work earned Indian sculpture global acclaim.

Dr Sutar passed away at his Noida residence late Wednesday night at the age of 100, reported news agency PTI.
